Webinar organized by "She Revolution" will discuss Iraqi women's role through October REVOLUTION AND COVID-19 and the impact of these special circumstances on the situation of Iraqi women. In this webinar, you will meet young Iraqi activists from the She Revolution, in Arabic, Haya al-Thawra, they will share how the revolution sparked the flames of an Iraqi feminist movement, how it has challenged the way we think of women in the Iraqi society, gender norms and codes of conduct. The role of corona virus in addressing women’s inequality and gender violence in Iraq. Lastly, they will discuss how a youth movement aspires to change conditions through advocating for a change on the current domestic violence law.
